Email me :-)

I earned my Ham ticket and was licensed on May 11, 2001.  I currently hold a Technician class license, but plan to upgrade to Extra Class by the end of the year.  Many thanks go out to WB1GCM, N1GCN, N1RDF for getting me into this wonderful hobby.

If you would like more information on Amateur Radio, visit the American Radio Relay League website.

A Little (More) Info:

I operate from two different locations throughout the day.  I am either at home in my apartment, or I am mobile out driving around somewhere.  I use the same rig for both operations, but I finally have two different antennas for the change.  I run a mag mount on the truck, and the same inside on a cookie sheet.  I just made a 1/4 wave vertical antenna from an SO-239 connector which works better than my mag mount inside.

Where you can find me:

If you are in the Hartford & Surrounding areas, I am always active on the 147.345 / 442.600 (PL 77.0) in Vernon, CT  (Owned and maintained by KB1AEV).   Or you can sometimes find me on the 442.700 (PL 173.8) in Farmington, CT (Owned and maintained by N1GCN).

I also want to send my thanks out to KB1AEV for making me feel welcome on his repeater system.  And thanks to all the usual players on the repeater as well.  There are too many of you to name them all, but here's a few...   WB1FMP, N1JMM, N1SFE, W1VVK, KA6FDW, N1KPW, KB1FQQ.  I know I've left some people out, and thanks to all.
