Stevens Page
Here I am playing with a digital camera I borrowed. As usual I am busy with my Ham radio and communications equipment. With all the antennas on our home it looks like we live in a "Chia House"
This is the inside of my new van. The top is a GPS unit that gives me my exact position anywhere. I use this when doing my Civil Air Patrol searches. It is also tied in to a radio tracking unit that can be used to track where I am. Want to take a look? Click below to see where I am! (If I don't show up, I am out of range or in my garage) (after you take a look click the back arrow of YOUR BROWSER to return to this page) The middle radio is my High Frequency or HF rig that I can use to talk around the world. The lower radio is a local VHF/UHF radio for other ham use such as public service assistance at running races, etc. I will be a radio operator at the Boston Marathon again this year. And of course, the trusty cell phone below.
This is my License plate. It has my Ham Radio Call sign. It is unique to me. There is no one else in the world with this letter/number combination.
And of course I am pretty involved in Civil Air Patrol. I don't fly in the small planes during Search and Rescue missions, but I am on a ground team. And I have a great time working with both the cadets and adult members. Click above to send Steven an e-mail
