Invitation to Join

    Membership in the Algonquin Amateur Radio Club is open to anyone with an interest in Amateur Radio or an interest in the club activites. You do not have to be a licensed Amateur Radio operator operator to join the club.

   Monthly Club meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month at 7:30 pm.(except July and August). Currently we meet in the Marlborough Middle school on Theresher Drive, in the Library. (entrance at the rear of building,20n) You are invited to come, observe and hopefully join the club. The annunal membership dues for the AARC is $10.00 and covers the operating year September thru June. Family dues are $15.00 and cover husband, wife, and children living with the parents who are licensed operators. For Seniors 65 or over dues are $3.00.

  If you are not licensed but would like to obtain your Ham license, the club has people ready to assist and guide you through the exam process. In addition, monthly (except July & August)license exam sessions are held at the Marlborough Public Library auditorium by ARRL volunteer examiners on the third Saturday of the month.
