     The local Marlborough Emergency Management Agency is looking for licensed Ham Radio operators and or volunteers for the CERT group.  If you are interested in Emergency Communications and or serving the community at Civic functions, and Emergency operations where your skills can make a contribution, please consider joining the local Marlborough Emergency Management group.   We hold informal monthly meetings the third tuesday of the month September thru June at 7:00 pm at the Marlborough Emergency Operations Center, (EOC) located at the Central Fire station at 215 Maple st. (Entrance is thru the side door faceing the parking lot.)

1. Evaluate our HF antenna needs & setup potential. - We need a permanent HF antenna !.

2. The new Laptop Computer along with Airmail program for Winlink has been set up and working with a TM-241 VHF tranceiver and KAM plus TNC. It was used during the Nov. FEMA drill and the Marlborough Flu clinic on Nov. 22nd. An operational use procedure has been written up and is included in the EOC manual.
