In the case of KWMU, it not only cuts into the coverage of WIBI, but near their transmitter site near Oakville, MO, the digital sidebands severely reduce or wipe out the signal of KBGM Park Hills, MO, which simulcasts WIBI Carlinville, IL. It also wipes out signals from WSCT in Springfield, IL (another relay for WIBI) and WILL-FM in Urbana, IL at this location. The digital sidebands from KWMU also cuts into WIBI’s signal coverage in much of northern St. Louis County, MO and Madison County, IL.
