Hello my name is "Tom Haney" and I would like to welcome you to our homepage.  We live in the beautiful north Georgia mountains in the town of Jasper, Georgia..  Our home "Montana East" is located on the side of Oglethorpe mountain at an elevation of 3000' above sea level.  I have a 14 year old daughter "Amberly" and my beautiful wife "Nance" and the memories of our black lab "Smokey" I am an NT Network Administrator and my hobbies are Amateur Radio (N�TH) (checkout my Amateur Radio Page) and Music.  Nance is a Nurse Practitioner and she loves to collect  "Cherished Teddies".  Come with us on a virtual tour of this beautiful place we call home. There is an abundance of wildlife in Bent Tree that include: deer, black bear, wild turkey, bob cats, beaver, all manor of birds and small mammals.

     Come take a virtual tour of our home.  Lets start with the house.  Next come with me to the top deck and check out the hot-tub (neat huh?).  Now wipe your feet and come inside and we'll start the inside tour upstairs.  Here is another view from the upstairs, this one is also looking toward the front.  Come back downstairs and see the living room.  We have one of the prettiest lakes in north Georgia.  The lake is 133 acres and has panoramic mountain views ,Lets go see the lake.  Here is another view of the lake.  The lake has a beautiful area known as the spillway.   The spillway is spillover from the lake that flows across the street and down a lovely waterfall.  Here is a view of the lake taken near the beach.  The water in our mountains are among the clearest in the state.  The spring of the year brings a renewed life all it's own.   Come with me to one of mother nature's loveliest gardens and see her handy work.   This flower is called mountain laurel   , here is a closer look at this beautiful flower.  Here are even more lovely wild flowers that grace our land.  Here's another laurel view, some wild daisy's and  sweet magnolia blooms.  Well we hope you enjoyed the tour of our lovely home and area.  The town of Jasper, Georgia is located about 65 miles to the north of Atlanta, in the southern terminus of the blue ridge mountain chain.  We live about 10 miles north of Jasper in the "Bent Tree" community.  Check out our current weather.   Ham's check out this site it belongs to (KB4IZF) Hugh, the owner of the Jasper,Ga. 145.370Mhz repeater on Oglethorpe mountain.    Check out a "map" of Jasper and vicinity or a "satellite photo of  Jasper".  Look for other links on this site in the coming months.  Y'all come back now Ya hear.
