Hi Rod,
Here's my contribution-- a Rock-Mite 20 with AAPB. I initially had the
howl others have reported, but packaging in a plastic box seems to have
fixed it. I would be interested in hearing others experiences with this
problem. My guess is that something I changed in the grounding is the
cause.

I noticed that the additional X2 gain from the AAPB has resulted in a
sidetone that is too loud for my taste. Hopefully a simple RC fix will
cure that, and maybe shape the audio as well. I'll pass along any
insights.

I decided to not use the single pole audio filtering in the AAPB. Using
a simple SPDT switch selects either both poles, or none. The addition of
the AAPB volume control is most welcome.

I'll be bringing my RM20-AAPB with me to Pacificon. Hope to see you
there!
