Hi Rod,

Here are some pictures of my version of the Rock-Mite. My
rendering is totally self-contained. The rig also contains
Steve Weber's AAPB Audio Filter board (works great!) I used 4
AA alkaline cells feeding a Embedded Research EPS-1 DC to DC
converter yielding 12 volts out to the Rock-Mite. The rig is a
"two story" unit. With the battery and converter on the
"bottom" floor and the Rock-Mite and AAPB filter on the "top"
floor. I added a "Shift" LED to let me know when the Rock-Mite
has shifted frequencies. I used a three position miniature
rotary switch to select either 0, 1 or 2 audio filter stages.

The rig works great. I like the complete package.... just add
antenna, paddles, and headphones and you are on the air.
