Rod this is my Rock Mite in a LMB CR-425 case.

As you can see I made a few mods. HI

I moved C111 to the bottom of the board to allow room for a heat
sink on Q6.

I added more filtering to the power input line for better
operation with weak batteries. In addition to the caps, I have
an RF bead on the power in line that is hidden under the PCB.

I changed C6 to 150 pf and C7 to 22 uf in reduce the audio
bandwidth of U2. After all we only want to hear 700 hz. HI

I used AADE filter program and changed the output PI network for
a match of 80 ohms at collector of Q6 and antenna of 52 ohms.
Not sure if it helps anything but thought Q6 might run cooler.
Not verified.

I used toroids in place of L2 and L3.

I did make a mistake - I used a spring loaded switch and should
have used a push button.

Rock Mite puts out 800 mW with 13.8 vdc and one can hold your
finger on Q6.
