I havn't started the panel yet, but I have started to plan it. I figured by planning right from the start, it gives me lots of time to spread out the aquisition of the instruments and hopefully find a deal here and there.
So far I've pretty much settled on at least the following flight instruments and avionics:
United 8025 B697 - Airspeed Indicator
United 5934 PD-3 A.130 - Altimeter
Standard Instruments TC-001 - Turn Coordinator
Precision Aviation PAI-700 - Compass
RC Allen 11A-8 - Directional Gyro
RC Allen 22-7 - Attitude Indicator
RMI uEncoder - Encoder/VSI plus 2nd airspeed and alt.
Icom IC-A200 - Transceiver
Narco AT-150 - Transponder
RST-565 - Audio Panel/Intercom
For navigational equipment I'm probably going to go with GPS, but still looking into that.
Planned engine gauges are:
Tach
Oil Temp
Oil Pressure
Fuel Gauges (one for each tank)
Fuel Pressure
EGT
CHT
Voltmeter
Ammeter
