Opening Preamble:
This is (Your Call) calling this session of the Multi-County Ham Jam. My name is (Your Name) and I am located in (Your County) Tennessee. This is a directed net and stations are asked to please not secure from the Net Frequency before notifying Net Control. The Net meets each Tuesday night at 9:00 pm local time on the MTARS Primary 10/70 or Secondary 22/82 repeaters. In case of severe weather alerts or any other type of emergency situation the Ham Jam will not be called. Information is available on our website at www.qsl.net/mtars
Is there any emergency or priority traffic on frequency? Are there any announcements or bulletins for the net? Is there any formal traffic from any station?
All amateurs are invited to check in and participate. When checking in please give your call, name and county.

Good evening. This is Amateur Radio Station (Your Call) calling the Middle Tennessee Amateur Radio Society Two Meter Net. My name is (Your Name) and I am located in (Your County), TN. This net meets each Thursday at 9:00 p.m. on the MTARS Primary 10/70 or Secondary 22/82 repeaters, unless there is a system failure. The Net is affiliated with the ARRL National Traffic System. You do not have to be a MTARS member to check in.
