Election to be Held This Month!

The election committee, Steve KI0CL, John KA0OSC, and myself have been working to find candidates to fill our Officer positions. So far we have found someone for the Officers, but we are still in need of a Program Chairman and the Newsletter Editor would like a replacement as well.

The current candidates are:

President Les Bearl N0PPF (incumbent)
Vice President Mike Smith N0DWM
Secretary John Robertsen KA0OSC
Treasurer Stan Berkner KA0JWH (incumbent)

The Program Manager and Newsletter Editor are positions appointed by the President, the election committee provides recommendations for vacant positions to the President.

Currently all candidates are running unopposed. Nominations will be taken from the floor at the December meeting.

From Russia With Love!

This months meeting we have a guest presenter. John Douglas, N0ISL has been working to get used ham radio equipment and computers for Russian Amateurs. John will be talking about his endevours and will also show us some Russian QRP backpacking gear. This should be an interesting program. Let's have a big turnout! See you Saturday.

The club can receive a small portion of your ARRL dues for our club treasury. It doesn't raise your dues or cost you anything. Send your filled out renewal from and a check made out to David Donaldson to:

Remember make the check out to David not the ARR.L. David will forward your renewal to the league and retain the amount the club receives for each renewal or new member and place it in the treasury.
