my location is a small
village called croy
where many years ago the romans ran about this area
200 yrds from my house it the roman wall and goes all the way up to the top of the hill behind me there was some sort of fortress there and further west fron me is barhill thats where the big fort was situated

a good days walk all around this area will give u some insight into how the romans lived here many years ago
many tourists come to see these each year
now our community council has several walkways all around these routes and a nature reserve just a mile or 2 away a great day out for the keen walker of wildlife fan
come along and enjoy the fresh air
the falkirk wheel is not far away and it can be a good walk alongside the canal
an amazing piece if machinery

the forth and clyde canal is just a littlte to the north of the village 10 mins walk many new things being done to improve the old canal
big space for mooring too so if ur a boater come visit our beutiful landscapes
