and welcome to my site. My name is Yvonne and my callsign is M6BUN, QTH Southend-on-Sea, Essex, England. My interest in Amateur Radio started in 2005, when I met my other half John G0DPC. Then, hearing his radio in the background, I became an SWL. Once John had developed his toolbar for Amateur Radio in 2007, I became its' secretary, and am now responsible for the calendar, where you can find details for hundreds of Rallies/Hamfests worldwide. Not content with just listening to John on the radio, and wanting a piece of the action myself, I undertook a Foundation Course with Chelmsford Amateur Radio Society, and passed my Foundation Licence on 2nd April 2009.

Exciting news: John and I married in September 2011. It was a perfect day!

I have a son, Jonathan, who has just left for university to study forensic science, 2 stepdaughters, 2 stepsons, and 8 grandchildren (and also another on the way).

As well as amateur radio, I love crafts - especially card making, lacemaking, cross stitch and scrapbooking. In fact, John and I made all the invitations for our wedding. I also play the violin, and surprised our guests by playing at the wedding.

It was really exciting, during the NOV for the Royal Wedding back in May, I DID get a pile up - my first! Thanks to all of you involved in the pile up, for all your patience!
