04/03/2003 Now have some new gear, thanks to a local amateur moving away to a smaller qth, I'm providing a new home to a Dentron GLA-1000B, Kenwood TS120v, TL120, PS30 and an Icom IC-02e handheld.

19/11/2002 Changed links to Jim Barbers page (SSTV software) - he has had his url hi-jacked! I also updated the qsl cads page as I've got a card from JY9NX.

12/07/2002 Added a Buckmaster search box to the homepage and a page called QSL Cads to list those who take your cards IRC's and Dollars and give nothing in return.

14/06/2002 Added a page to the site showing the rest of the family.

27/05/2002 Put a colinear on the chimney for 2m/70cm, getting out better on FM due to vertical polarity. Can access GB3CA with 2 watts.

30/04/2002 Added new club programme to site, also made some more minor alterations to index page. Bought a web cam to use for SSTV (£4.97 @ D****s!) Mike has passed his CW and is now M0RMH.

02/04/2002 Moved the site to qsl.net - I hope you've updated your bookmarks! also made a few small alterations to some pages. Added CTCSS to IC240, can change tone in seconds without dismantling radio.

02/02/2002 New 4m Transverter almost finished - working on a DDS synthesized transceiver for 6m. Fitted IC240 in kit-car. Aerials survived 90mph gales!

08/11/2001 Minor alterations and update to site, have acquired a M294E to get going on 4m FM. Kit-car on road, worked ZL, heard VK on 6!

01/07/2001 Added a page to the site giving details of the local radio society meetings.

31/05/2001 6m Transverter working well with VE1YX Bob and AF1T Dale in the log.

15/05/2001 Added a page to the site about my kit-car, an AMC Cub, a mini moke lookalike.

24/04/2001 Acquired a diamond CP5 vertical for 80m,40m,20m,15m and 10m in a deal with Mark G0MDV working some DX now. BV, PY, 8R1, YC, VU and VK so far!

29/03/2001 Got my mast up for my 2m beam at last, I've put the 6m quad on there as well so things are starting to take shape. - P.S. Mike has got M1RMH.

11/01/2001 Just heard that my friend Mike Halliwell from Kendal has passed his RAE and should have his callsign soon, he's hoping he can get M1RMH. Added a new link to eham.net, try it.

20/12/2000 Finished the new 50Mhz Transverter, fixed the quad too! all we need now are some decent conditions on Six to give it a try. 14Mhz dipole fallen down again. Added some new pics to the site.

4/12/2000 My mate Mike has taken his RAE, he's feeling optimistic about the results. M1???

29/11/2000 Updated link to Kenny M1HAM/M5RIG's webpage and added link to FDS Graphics who print my QSL cards. Started to case my new 50Mhz transverter.

16/11/2000 Took some photos of the gear to update those on the site, you'll have to wait for the results as I use 35mm and a scanner.

12/11/2000 Worked ON7FF special event station (Flanders Fields) in Ypres maybe not DX but my great great uncle was killed at Ypres in The Great War.

8/11/2000 Finished building a handy little gadget for automatically connecting the IC735 to a transverter, works great. May be published in P.W.

26/10/2000 A true gentleman, Dave G8KAP has loaned, indefinitely!, an Icom IC251 a lovely 144Mhz multimode base radio.

22/10/2000 Got the receive board of my new 50Mhz transverter going, it's going to be very good if the receive side is anything to go by.

21/10/2000 At least I've got a dipole up for 14Mhz - only at 8ft though.

17/10/2000 All antennas except 144/430 vertical and 144 beam blown down by gales - 50Mhz quad smashed to bits.

4/10/2000 Finished converting MX296 to 432Mhz. Added an external squelch control, 16/32 channel switch and a toneburst with a front panel illuminated push button.
