Welcome to M1ELF's web page.  This is the third version of the web page and I hope that it     provides some enjoyment and information.

I use a Yaesu FT90R whilst mobile, a Standard C500 handheld and a Yupiteru MVT-7100.  An old Yaesu HF radio is an ongoing project.

I enjoy building computers (I don't enjoy software problems), mineralogy and quite a lot of science fiction, whatever media it is on.  Give me Seven of Nine out of Star Trek any day of the week phew!  I am a Tribologist by profession and get involved in various projects around the world.  I also have an extreme passion for 2E1NIK (my lady).  Whilst not doing any of the above I also help out by teaching on John M1DVT's novice course.

I also have a slightly worse for wear Volvo, but it's my little baby and when I've got time I like to TRY and fix all the little quirks it has.  But if you have a slightly older car you'll know that fix one and another appears!  She gets me from A to B ..occasionally.  I also like going to the beach at week-ends if I can, which just recently hasn't been too often.  But with the weather the way it is maybe that's a good thing!
