The only time during my career that I was live-armed and fired a weapon anywhere other than in the rifle range - but that's another story. 1967 - 1969 RAF North Luffenham, Rutland.  Depot level maintenance of radar and radio system sub assemblies. Married in the family church, Cornwall, September 1967. 1969 - 1973 RAF West Drayton, Middlesex.  Installation and commissioning of the military element of the London air traffic control centre. 1973 - 1974 Royal Air Force College Cranwell 1974 - 1976 RAF Staxton Wold, Yorkshire.  Shift officer in charge of electrical engineering maintenance team.
