For me there is as much pleasure and satisfaction in making things for my hobbies as there is in the hobbies themselves and this applies nowhere more than amateur radio.  Of course it's nice to have commercial ATUs, dummy loads, test equipment, antennas and the like, but I get immense satisfaction from making these sorts of things myself and then seeing them work just as well as their commercial equivalents, and that's why the workshop end of my shack is just as important to me as the business end.  The project pages below give the design and construction details of a few of the things I have built and which work well; I hope you find them interesting.........but before that I regret, my friends, that it is a sign of the litigious times in which we live that I have been advised by those who know about these things to place the following warning on this page of my web site:
