Hi. I am 50
years old and have been interested in radio since I began as a SWL when I was
12 years old. My home QTH is Rotherham,
located in the Central Part of England.
I have been very quiet on the radio scene since 1995 when I decided I
had, had enough and gone back to SWL. I am ex RAF Mechanical
Transport Driver (Hence my callsign MTD) 1979 –
1992 and served in Gulf War 1 and now disabled due to Gulf War Syndrome, M.E

SBS Antenna. All antennas are
at about 9m above ground & I am at 10m ASL. I have been
licensed since Sept 2002 (M3TDC) and have been a short wave listener for more
than 38 years. In July of
2003 I passed my Intermediate course (2E0TDC) and now finally after passing
my Full License in December 2003 which was the last exam by City & Guilds
I now operate as M0MTD. I am also a
member of the RSGB, RNARS, RAFARS, WAB & IOTA groups. Many thanks
