Hi I hope you find my site of some interest and to start with here is a brief profile of who I am.   Born in 1962 in a small quarrying community in the hills of Derbyshire, my interest in radio began with the advent of A.M. cb in the mid-seventies, progressing to DXing the world with 27mhz ssb equipment using just 12 watts pep.(during this period I listened with growing interest to the "hams" on h.f. and began to teach myself the basics for the r.a.e.)

In 1998 I became an `A' class amateur and my main interests  are   dx and propagation on the 10m. band where you will hear me most evenings and weekends.   I now live near Doncaster in the north of England and have a group of friends who share my interest in 28mhz operation and we collectively go by the name of "The Doncaster D.X. Wafflers Net." This is a very informal group and we usually monitor freq. 28.475 or 144.625.             (give us a call if you hear us on)
