I will begin the info page as someone gives me an OSCAR :-) Thanks to my father for interesting me in that very nice hobby! Thanks to my mother for keeping me awake during the contests! ( But that not puts me in the assisted category :-) ) Thanks to my sister for help me resting after the contests (and wasteing my time during the contest :-) ) Thanks to all my friends for help me to get in that hobby, especially LZ1KK - Sava, who helps me about HF! And not in last place, thanks to all WWYC'ers, it's very funny to be in a group with teenage- radioamateurs. I feel good in their company! (Because I'm teenager too :-) ) Okay, now the promised information about me as a radioamateur and about my equipment! I'm Dimitar (Mitko is shorter). I am 16 years old. I am HAM since 1996. I have second license class (that means VHF operating + HF privilegies). My HF equipment: Home-Build trcvr. In fact it's not personally mine. My friend LZ1KK gave it to me until I made self one. He is too busy in work and he do not operate in HF, so I can use his radio :-) ! The PA is also Home-Build by LZ1KK. The power which I'm useing is about 80 to 100 watts! That Home-Build radio, did, do and will do great job, even sometime I hate it. Of course, because I dream for commercial radio like FT-1000MP :-) ! Well, enough about that, let's move on antennas! Ahhh, antennas! I have 3 element beams for each band. Unbelievable? ;-) He-he-he-he! I'm just kidding! I have simple Inverted Vees for 80m, 40m & 20m + Dipole for 10m. All of the are at about 5 meteres above the ground. May be you are wondering how I can do contesting with that poor conditions? Yes! I'm contesting! I have good ones in my logs. I just have fun! Of course I'm thinking about some serious, but just thinking. May be 3 el. tribander. (Anyone interesed in helping me about construction? He-he). In fact all my equipment is Home-Build, except Computer, Alinco DJ-G1 & the rotator of my VHF 9el. Cross Yagi antenna :-) Now follows the modes. Hmm, I'm working an almost all modes. CW - I'm still learning that telegraphy! Still learning (I'm wondering when I'll finish that trainings? I must to get serious in that field!). SSB & RTTY are my favorite ones. Usually I'm contesting in SOSB, SSB or RTTY only category except few contests. Just I'm searching more fun :-) (Oh, of course sometime I would like to reach better result!) PSK31, Hellschreiber & SSTV - I' m not very active in these modes as I was before few month, but I'll activate soon. Pactor - Primary I was checking for mail in DK0MUN BBS in this mode, but now I'm not active! The new ones here are MT63 and Stream - There's not much activity in these modes. All my software for digitally modes useing the SoundBlaster. I have not any modems! I think that I finished with HF RIG! In VHF I'm operating only in FM. I have an Home-Build radio and Alinco DJ-G1. PA power is about 10watts (Can you guess what model is my VHF PA? ha-ha Home-Build ofcourse). The antennas are 9el. cross yagi & 9el. normal vertical yagi in contest. I have few QSOs & QSLs in Sporadic-E condx. So that home-buld equipment doing also great job ;-) I've finished with writing about my RIG. So, let's see my memberships. First I'm proud to write that I'm member of Bulgarian Federation of Radio Amateurs. I'm member in local radio club LZ1KSR. (In fact it's not active anymore), I'm honorary member of Radioclub "JANTAR" SP2PHA, Mir Fan Club and I am member & founder of World Wide Young Contesters (If you are under 30 years and you're interesed in WWYC, see the website of WWYC /in weblinks page/ and write me an e-mail). Okay, let's write something about my dreams... :-) I dream to get new (commercial) radio like Kenwood, Yeasu or something else & to make new , better antennas. I dream to operating multi/multi in a contest. I've never feel the thrill of multi operators. Is there thrill, in fact? I would like to try also in DX Expedition. Oh, oh. Let me stop! There's many dreams in my head but, let's back in the reality :-) Well and now I would like to write something about my family, because I am living in a radioamateur family! My father - LZ5KC is the first licensed radioamateur in my family. The second licensed am I :-) My mother - LZ5FP and my sister - LZ1IKT Okay that's almost all about me, my family & my HAM equipment! It's an looong page! Thanks for patient & reading it! :-)
