About me

My name is Victor Tribotski. I am 40 years old. I am married and have two daughters of 15 and 13 years old. I am electronics technician for computer controlled machinery service and repair in large Joint Stock Company VILNIUS VINGIS. Our company produces Deflection Yokes and Flyback Transformers for TV sets and computers monitors and exports its products to Germany, France, Turkey, Russia, Korea and Great Britain.
Many thanks to EU4CK(ex UC2ICK) who helped me to come to amateur radio. I made my first QSO from club station UK2IAJ. That time I lived in Byelorussia. I got my SWL call UC2-008-90 in the same year. After I graduated from high school and passed my army period I restarted my ham radio activity. I was licensed as UP2BSL in 1987. When Lithuania got independent my callsign became LY2BSL. In 1993 I got the license of the top radio station category (class A) and shortened my call to LY2SL.
I like ham radio for it gives the possibility to communicate with interesting people by wireless, lets to have a pleasure while  constructing amateur gear and antennas.
