Luxembourg Award Program
The Luxembourg Award has been issued since 1970 by the Réseau Luxembourgeois des Amateurs d'Ondes Courtes, a member society of the IARU, in commemoration of 50 years of amateur radio activity in the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg.
The Award is available to licenced radio amateurs and short wave listeners.
All LX contacts made by radio amateurs since January 1st 1951 (except 50MHz since March 2nd 1990) count for the LX Award.
- THE HF AWARD
Applicants must provide proof of having obtained the following number of points:
European stations: 30 points (of which at least 20% should be on 1.8, 3.5 or 7 MHz). Each contact counts 1 point.
Non-European stations: 20 pointsEach contact on 14, 18, 21, 24 and 28 MHz counts 1 point
Each contact on 1.8, 3.5, 7 and 10 MHz counts 2 pointsIf the same station has been worked on all HF bands, European stations may count 10 points and non-European stations 15 points.
- THE VHF AWARD (above 30MHz)
Applicants must provide proof of having obtained the following number of points:
European stations: 30 points
Non-European stations: 20 pointsEach contact on 50 MHz counts 5 points
Each contact on 144 MHz counts 3 points
Each contact on 432 MHz or above counts 5 pointsContacts via earthbound repeaters are not valid.
If all contacts have been made on a single band, it will be mentioned on the award. The same station may be worked once on each band in different modes. There is no restriction on the mode used.
Applicants should submit a list (GCR) showing the date, station worked or heard, time, band and mode, duly certified by two licenced radio amateurs or by the award manager of their society.

The European Community Award is issued by the Réseau Luxembourgeois des Amateurs d'Ondes Courtes in order to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the European Community. The award is available to licensed radio amateurs and short wave listeners.
Each contact with a station from one of the member countries of the European Community must have been made on or after the day of its accession to the European Community.
- Each station may be counted only once.
- Contacts made via active earthbound reflectors or repeaters may not be counted.
- There are no band or mode restrictions.
- For European applicants, each member country must be worked at least twice.
- For non European applicants, each member country must be worked at least once.
- A contact with LX0RL may be used as a joker for a missing member country.
Applicants should submit a GCR-list confirmed by two licensed amateurs or by one club official. However, in case of doubt, the award manager may ask the applicant to submit QSL-cards for checking purposes.

Worked Jubilee Award of the ADRAD
This jubilee award is issued by ADRAD (Radio amateurs du Kayldall) for their 20th anniversary to all licensed amateurs and SWL's.
30 points are required.
1 jokerstation and 3 members of ADRAD must be worked.
Jokerstations are: LX20AK (10pts), LX9AK, LX9DIG, LX9KS, LX0AK (5pts).
Members of ADRAD will count 2 points on HF and on all other bands 4 points.
Other LX-stations count 1 point.
Every station should be worked once, only. There are no date, band or mode restrictions.

Luxembourg Capital of Culture Award 2007
After being capital of culture 1995, Luxembourg made it again and will be Capital of Culture 2007 together with the Greater Region of Germany (Saarland, Rhineland-Palatinate), France (Lorraine) and Belgium (Wallonia).
The Greater Region is about 65,401km2, 3 national languages (Luxemburgish, French and German) and around 11,2 million inhabitants.

- The Award is available to licensed radio amateurs and short wave listeners
- Beginning January 1st 2007 and ending December 31st 2007, two way contacts must be established with the 3 special event stations

For LX2007L, LX2007G and LX2007D, your QSL card is not needed. All QSL cards for these 3 special event stations will be sent automatically by the national club. However, you may check the online log at www.rlx.lu.

DARC OV S22 Award Program
The German Amateur Radio Society DARC, District Saxony, offers this award to promote the union of radio amateurs in Saxony.
To get the award, which may be applied for by licensed radio amateurs and SWLs, all contacts after January 1, 1992 are valid.
You may count all Saxony DARC-DOKs, Saxony VFDB-DOK Z91 and Saxony Special-DOKs (SAX,LMM,TDSxx,LGSxx,2000AWAC).
Rules for the basic award on short wave:

The award is 21x30cm. It's printed in gold and green on 250 g paper. It's been accepted by the DARC general meeting in May 92.
In commemoration of G.E. Lessing, the great poet, dramatist and thinker of the Age of Enlightenment.
The Kamenz branch (DOK S22) of the German Amateur Radio Society DARC takes pleasure in issuing this beautiful award to any licensed radio amateur or SWL who submits proof of two-way radio contact or confirmed SWL reports respectively with stations in Kamenz (Lessing's birthplace) and in the different towns Lessing used to live and work in.
Applicants for this award need 50 points.
Contacts count as follows:
1 contact with the club station DL0GEL = 10 points
contacts with stations of DOK S22 = 5 points each
confirmations from DE (SWL) stations of DOK S22 = 5 points each
contacts with amateur radio stations in the following towns:
Berlin, Braunschweig, Hamburg, Breslau (Wroclaw), Leipzig, Meissen, Wolfenbüttel = 3 points
Contacts in CW count double.
Each station counts per band and per mode separately. There are no band or mode restrictions.
One contact with DL0GEL and at least three more (on VHF/UHF: two) with other stations from DOK S22 are compulsary.
All contacts must be dated January 1, 1994 or later. The submission of QSL cards is not required.

The Association of Radio Amateur of Lebanon, RAL
Worked OSCAR DELTA Award
Rules:
- The WOD (Worked Oscar Delta) Award is available to all radio amateurs worldwide who submit proof with written confirmation of having contacted a minimum of 5 different OD land stations in Lebanon.
- Two-way communications must be established on any amateur band as per Region regulations at the time of the QSO with each station on any band and/or mode. There is no minimum signal report required. Any or all bands may be used for WOD.
- Contacts must be made from the same location. Club station applicants, please include clearly the club name and callsign of the club station.
- Contacts made with OD stations must be dated 01.01.1990 or later. Contacts must be confirmed in writing i.e. a QSL card. Confirmations must show your call and indicate that two-way communication was established.
- Contacts made through "repeater" devices or any other power relay method cannot be used for WOD confirmation. All stations contacted must be "land stations." Contacts with ships or aircraft cannot be counted.
- The OD station contacted must be a member of the R.A.L.
- RAL reserves the right to spot call for inspection of QSL cards (at RAL expense). The purpose of this is not to call into question the integrity of any individual, but rather to ensure the overall integrity of the program. Failure of the applicant to respond to such spot check will result in non-issuance of the WOD certificate.
- Disqualification: False statements on the application or submission of forged or altered cards may result in disqualification. RAL does not attempt to determine who has altered a submitted card; therefore do not submit any marked over cards or a card with easily removable sticker. The decision of the RAL Awards Manager in such cases is final.

- Do not send confirmations (QSL cards) to RAL Awards Manager.
- Application form to be submitted to RAL Awards Manager by Air mail only.
- The application form must be verified and signed by your local Awards Manager, or
- Verified and signed by your QSL manager, or by 2 licensed Radio Amateurs.
- All applications sent to RAL must include the return postage fee which is 10 US$ or equivalent in IRC.

HC/HD DX Award - "Equatorial Line Diploma"
Issued by the DX-TA-SEA DX CLUB (WW8DX), this multicolored diploma measuring 8.5 x 11 inches (21.5 x 28 cm) is awarded to Amateur Radio Operators and Short Wave Listeners for confirming contacts (SWL reception of) the 20 different Ecuadorean HC & HD prefix areas, HC1-HC0 and HD1-HD0 (including HC8/HD8-Galapagos Islands and HC9/HD9 & HC0/HD0-Special Event and Contest Prefixes).
This award has been developed to recognize past Amateur Radio activities from Ecuador, named after the Equatorial Line, as well as to promote future DX operations from the 20 different HC & HD prefix areas.
Classes:
- Class D-(Brass) - contacts with (reception of) 1-5 prefixes
- Class C-(Bronze) - contacts with (reception of) 6-10 prefixes
- Class B-(Silver) - contacts with (reception of) 11-15 prefixes
- Class A-(Gold) - contacts with (reception of) 16-20 prefixes
A special trophy will awarded free of charge to those holding the Class A (Gold) Diploma and confirming all 20 prefixes.
All contacts or SWL reports must be made after November 20, 1945. Contacts may be made using different personal callsigns, but, they must be made from within the same DXCC country. Endorsements are available by Band, Mode or QRP < 5W.
Fees:
- Basic diploma with any amount of endorsement stickers: $5.00 US or 4€ (or equivalent - foreign currency accepted at current exchange rate) or 6 IRC's (valid ONLY if properly stamped).
- Class endorsements: (any amount) at later dates: SAE + $2.00 US or 1€ (or equivalent) or 2 IRC's.

A special endorsement is available for those confirming QSO's with (reception of) "8" different Galapagos Islands callsigns, one of which must be an HD8 callsign.
All contacts or SWL reports must be made after November 20, 1945. Contacts may be made using different personal callsigns, but, they must be made from within the same DXCC country. Endorsements are available by Band, Mode or QRP < 5W.
