Las Vegas Regional SKYWARN will go back to using the 147.18(+)(DCS 244) repeater for SKYWARN activations in Las Vegas valley.

The Mt. Potosi repeater will be used when there is severe weather in S. Nye Co. and weather reports are relayed to Las Vegas Regional SKYWARN or to an operator at the Las Vegas NWS station WX7LAS.

Also note that the 145.300 (-)(DCS 244)is now operational on Beacon Hill. This ARES/RACES repeater is linked to 147.18 and provides coverage in the Logandale/Overton/Mesquite area. The 147.18 (+)(pl 127.3) repeater on Spirit Mountain, near Christmas Tree pass is also operational and is linked to the other ARES/RACES repeaters. This system provides coverage into the Laughlin area.
