J5UAP on now–fairly active but signals weak

S21DX reported working EU on 40 meter SSB–will be up for a week
Falkland
Islands VP8YL–by an all YL team scheduled for 1/17 to 1/31
Temotu H44–scheduled

Holiday celebration at Star Diner
was a great success. Good turnout. K2UU was there! Ed's efforts in arranging the party much
appreciated.
Treasurer's report: no recent
expenses, 11 members paid up for 2009 so far.
John gave a brief report on our
successful participation in HRU 2009.
Neil, KC2KY, Chairman of the HRU
2009 Committee, presented John, W2GW and Steve, WB2ZHB with certificates of
appreciation for their work as DX forum managers at the event. Neil said he would
present a certificate at a future LIDXA meeting to Ed, K2MFY, who was out of
town.
Marv, W2FGD, reminded everyone to
check into the LIDXA Sunday night net on 145.330 (136.5 PL) at 9:00 PM local
time.
