When you check in, you'll be asked to give your call, name, and location.  Please go SLOW for all of us....we are all out of practice (if not totally new at it).  Please do not check in by saying "This is..." and then drop PTT to see if you are doubling.  To me, that is poor operating practice and generally wastes time.  You'll hear a lot of folks doing it though.  When you are net control, write down all the check in information as best you can (even if you know everyone).  We're practicing for those times that you won't know who is who.
