V. ADMINISTRATION AND SUPPORT

A. Member Registration and Identification.
Amateur Radio operators who wish to become members of LCARES must submit and application form to the Linn County Emergency Management Coordinator and pass a background check conducted by the Linn County Sheriff's Office. Upon acceptance, they will be issued an Emergency Identification Card that is countersigned by the Linn County Sheriff's Office and Oregon Emergency Management Division of the Oregon State Police (OEM).

B. Alert Roster/Phone Tree.
The Linn County Emergency Management Coordinator will maintain an alert roster derived from the ARES/RACES applications. This roster will be provided to the ARES Emergency Coordinator, who will prepare and maintain a Phone Tree for alerting members.

C. Meetings.
LCARES will hold monthly meetings at a time and location to be determine by the EC and the Planning Committee.
