LCARA NET
The LCARA Sunday evening net occur at 8:30pm and net controls for the Sunday evening nets are as follows:
Net Control Operators are needed for the Sunday Evening Net. If you would
like to become a NCS, please contact Brian N8VUB.
BURNING
RIVER TRAFFIC NET (BRTN)
The BRTN takes place EVERY EVENING AT 9:30p on the LCARA repeater, KC8BED/R on 147.150+. It is also linked with the 146.805- repeater, WB8LLY
In case the repeater is needed for emergency nets or there is a problem, the following
alternate frequencies are used: 147.030+ OR 146.460 (simplex)
The Skywarn net may occur ANYTIME, as required by the National Weather Service. For more Skywarn info, check out our Skywarn Page.
EMERGENCY NET
Similar to Skywarn nets, emergency nets can occur ANYTIME, as needed.
The General Class has ended with 4 students taking the test at the American Red Cross on Sunday, July 20, 2008. Check back here or on the NOARS website for information on upcoming classes.
