The LCARA is an ARRL-recognized
special service club.
Meetings are on the third Friday of every month at the American Red Cross Building,
2929 West River Rd N., Elyria,
Ohio 44035
The meetings begin at 7:30 PM
and are open to all. You do not have to be a ham to attend. Our officers and members welcome you.
Our repeaters are open
and we operate eight nets per week
on 147.15+, plus any emergency or Skywarn nets.
We sponsor one amateur radio exam per
month.
Our newsletter, The
Printed Circuit, was awarded an Honorable Mention in the ARRL Ohio
Section Fourth Annual Newsletter Contest.
Lorain County
is on the shores of Lake Erie in the north central
area
Calling all Hams!
We need your participation in our local
nets. Our Sunday evening Net
meets at 8:30
PM. The Burning River Traffic Net meets every evening at 9:30 PM. Join
us!
We also have an upcoming public service
event in Lorain County in early October. Come to our Friday the 18th regular
meeting for details.
