(RTVI) Presentation
A semi-technical review of electro-magnetic and power line interference; their
typical causes and remedies.
Includes identifying the source of most interference from both home appliances
and utility sources and provides simple tips and remedies for locating and
eliminating most RTVI.
About the presenters:
Charlie Basham, N6DZW, is SCE’s Manager of Public Safety. He’s been a ham for more than 40 years and currently holds an Extra Class license.
Brian Thorson
is SCE’s
Electric and Magnetic Fields (EMF) Specialist.
He typically performs measurements and consults with commercial and
residential customers on EMF associated with electric appliances, products and
power lines. Brian is currently studying for his Technician license.
