Amateur Extra License Class!
— January 9th until February 27, 2016 —
The ARALB Ham University is presenting an Amateur Extra License class. Please let your members know of this opportunity to upgrade. We only hold this class once every other year. This 8-week class will be from January 9th until February 27th . We will meet each Saturday morning from 9:00 am until about noon. Then the VE’s will come into the classroom on February 27th for the exam.
We have been quite successful with this class. In fact, nearly 50% of the ARALB membership now consists of Amateur Extras, and we have about 120 members.
This class will require a lot of work on the part of the student, but if the student participates in class and follows our instructions, we expect positive results.
Our cutoff date must be strictly enforced in order for us to get the books and first assignment to the students the week prior to the first class. The class is limited to 20 students due to the classroom size. So, after we receive 20 registrations properly completed, and with payment to cover the book and the exam, we will not be able to accept any more.
