JW7QIA 50 MHz operations |
I have been operating 6 meters from different locations on Svalbard. On the first picture I'm operating from Hiorthamnfjellet (snowmobile in -18C, brrrrr). The most succesful opereration on 6 metres (yet) took place from Kapp Linne. Here is Isfjord Radio located.
The beacon (JW7SIX) is located in a small container. The container is build as transmitter/tuner site for one of Svalbard Radio's many remote controled transmitters. Note the feeding line to the BIG wire antenna over.
