For optimum DX performance, I have equipped my Yaesu FT-847 with Inrad SSB Crystal IF filters:
RX: #714 - 1.8 kHz
TX: #702 - 2.1 kHz
I am using the headset Heil Proset 4 with footswitch FS-1. The mast is equipped with the Yaesu G-2800 DXA rotator.
Low Loss Ecoflex-10 coaxialcable is used from the ZX 6-6 antenna in to the loft where the Tohtsu CX-520 coaxial relay is located.
7/8'' Cellflex (LCF) is used from the the shack to the loft for the TX path. For the RX path, an ARR P50VDG Preamplifier (0.5 dB NF) is
connected directly to the coaxial relay, and 1/2'' Cellflex (LCF) is used from the preamp to the shack.
