NORSK
Radio scouting is a complex concept on different activities in the scout work. The radio
scouting has roots back to the first scoutcamp on Brownsea Island in the beginning of
this century with Baden Powell as camp chief. He already then saw that experience of
technology would be important to the youth of the future.
The norwegian scout & guide association is the owner of five callsigns; LA1NSF, LA1JAM, LA1SS, LA2JAM and LA2SS, which can
be used by the radio amateurs in NSF. The activity is on it`s top during camps
and JOTA.
