MS Perseids 1995 - JP30SI

JP30SI: Dyranut Turisthytta, located on the main road from Oslo to Bergen over the Hardangervidda, 1240 mASL.

The take-off is good in all directions except North.

This is an excellent site for VHF DXing or as a starting point for exploring the Norwegian mountains.

The host on this mountain cottage are very kind and pleasent. They even let the diesel power generator run 24 hours a day only for my sake.

The cottage is open during Easter and the whole summer season. Their telephone no is +47 53 66 57 15.

All QSOs 144 MHz SSB.

Rig: Some QSOs with Yaesu FT-736R with 25 W output and some QSOs with Yaesu FT-290 RII + Microwave Modules solid-state linear 70 W output (tnx to LA3DV, Arne). Antenna: 15 ele CueDee yagi 10 mAGL.
