Millen 90651 is a compact and completely self contained grid-dip meter. Transformer type AC supply. Drum dial has seven bands, calibrated from 1.5 thru 300MHz, with generous overlaps.

90700 - a 80/40m VFO manufactured by James Millen in the 1940s, with calibration chart for use on its fundamental output 3.5-3.7 MHz or by changing coil taps on the buffer and link coupler to the 2nd harmonic, 7.0-7.4 MHz. Can be doubled or quadrupled in a transmitter to operate on 20 and 10 meters also. Tubes are 6K7 VFO, 25L6 buffer, and 25Z6 rectifier-doubler. This unit is operated directly from the 120 volt ac line and uses a transformerless voltage doubler. It puts out 2 watts of RF. Intended to drive a tri-tet crystal oscillator by plugging in the 5-pin tuned link coupler (included) to crystal socket of a Millen 90800 50-watt exciter (6L6-807 combination). This unit is also in Jan. QST 1941 (Millen built the commercial version).
