Galaxy 300 - is a 3 band transceiver - the predecessor to the Galaxy III (3 band transceiver) and the Galaxy V (5 band transceiver).

Main Tuning Dial. 0-500 Khz marks on top are used when the frequency control dial is set on an even frequency. The 500-1000 khz marks on the bottom are used then the frequency dial is set on 500 khz increments.

Frequency dial indicates frequency in mhz at 500 khz increments to which the phase lock oscillator can be tuned. The light in the upper right hand corner of this dial is extinquished when the oscillator is locked on AVC switch(Slow/Fast)
