G0GJV VHF CONTEST LOGGING Contains a VHF contest logging program particularly aimed at UK/RSGB contests, although others may find it useful. This version deals with the 2004 RSGB contest rules, essentially no change for several years. Requires a minimum of single 720K floppy, 640Mb RAM IBM PC or clone. Includes a built in NGR - Lat/Long - Maidenhead calculator. This system is FREE, not shareware.
G4ZFE CW Pile Up! Pile Up! is a program which simulates a Morse Code pileup using a Sound Blaster card. The greater the number of voices used by the Sound Blaster card the more difficult it is to read individual callsigns. The idea is based on tapes used at Amateur Radio Conventions to test people's CW skills. I find that Pile Up! is good practice before a contest and also helps improves keyboard skills. The callsigns sent are those worked by M6A and M7A in 1996 and 1997 CW contests to add realism.

HF modes supported on-line: CW, RTTY, AMTOR, PACTOR, PACTOR-II (SCS PTC-II), G-TOR (KAM) and PSK31 (SCS PTC-II) for both contesting and normal operation. Pile-up mode is provided for contest style operation. Simultaneous operation of two HF radios is provided.

N1MM Logger The N1MM Logger is a freeware program designed to do contest logging and some general logging. It is not a general logging program with award tracking etc. but is mainly a contest logging program. Check the Features listing. Important! The usefulness of this program is greatly enhanced by reading the Key Assignments. The message send by the function keys F1 through F8 depends if you are in Running mode or in Search and Pounce mode. It all depends if the Running indicator in the Entry window is marked or not. The program can be used on Windows 95/98/ME and on Windows NT/2000/XP. DOS is not supported. TACLog Contest program for 50MHz, VHF etc. TACLog differs from the mainstream logging programs. The most important difference is the FREE INPUT FORMAT. Where most other programs "dictate" the order and format of the input data during contesting, TACLog gives you freedom of operation, both on the air and on your computer. TACLog provides excellent "fringe benefits" from logging, such as ultra-fast dupe-checking, fast search & find functions, QSL function ... plus the ability to configure the program for use in practically every type of contest on VHF/UHF/SHF. It also handles print-outs, summary sheets and logs, all in accordance with Region 1 rules. TACLog is also capable of generating several types of EDI-files for electronic data interchange: REG1TEST, RSGB 97, ARRL suggested standard file, ADIF proposed specification and Cabrillo version 2.0. Runs on 8088 PC (XT) or higher with more than 450 kB of free memory DOS program, may be used under Windows, Win NT, Win 95/98, OS/2, Soft Windows. Public Domain.
