The KY Indiana Dx Association
(KYINDXA), an ARRL affiliated club, is Western KY's amateur radio
contest and DX club. It's members share a common interest in the
sport of amateur radio contesting and Dx'ing. The purpose of the
club is to willingly share knowledge and skills to promote ham radio
contesting and dx'ing in Kentucky. All ham operators are encouraged
to join, no experience in dxing or contesting is required, just
the desire to learn more about contesting. The KY Indiana DX Association
supports and encourages all types of contesting, from HF to light,
all modes, power classes and skill levels.

Keeping
In Touch |
Ham radio is all about communication.
The KYINDXA uses several methods to communicate with its members,
including the KYINDXA newsletter, club web site, and an e-mail reflector.
These methods are used to inform members of what the club is doing,
and to encourage, support and help each other in our contest and
dx'ing activities.
|
|
Meetings |
The ARRL no longer specifies
meeting requirements for club members, so currently the KYINDXA
is currently a internet only club. Since we have no meetings, no
dues are assessed. The newsletter is delivered via e-mail only.
If the membership decides, the by-laws call for instituion of meetings
upon a vote of current club members. Non-members are welcome to
find out more about the KYINDXA or about contesting and dx'ing in
general.
