In June of 2000, our "home base" was at the Circle 9 campground in Epsom, NH. Here's some photos of the CG in the summer, which you can compare against the ones from February's snow!

We hope you enjoy these pictures.

The following pictures were taken at an extremely nice Audubon Society refuge, outside of Concord NH, called "Silk Farm". We hiked about half a mile through the dense woods, until reaching Turkey Pond. Gorgeous!

Also in New Hampshire, we stumbled upon another beautiful campground called "Barrington Shores". While our RV was undergoing major surgery, and since the RV company had to to foot the bill, we opted for a very nice cottage right on the lake.

In July, 2000, we found what we believe will be our home base for not only the rest of the summer, but probably the fall and winter as well.

Leigh likes this campground because the sites are HUGE. So much so that she's already planning on putting in a 30 gallon "pond", with recirculating pump. And we weren't here a day before she went out and bought about a zillion flats of flowers. Byron likes the site because of the lack of visible neighbors, and lots of room for his antennas.

The campground is located near the central NH communities of Henniker and Contoocook and is chock full of large ponds and small lakes. There's one (French's pond, but it's very large, more like a lake) right here on the Campground property.

Less than a week after we'd "moved in" to the new campground, Leigh decided that it needed a pond. A POND? Yah, a pond. OK, so it's a little one. But hey, it has a frog, running water and ... well ... everything that ponds have.

Here's some more shots of our home for the Summer (and fall and winter...) of 2000. Getting bored yet? We can always bring out the home movies, I suppose! :)
