RV 'ing

We started RV'ing in 1978 with a used 8' pop-up trailer, the only accessories in it were a gas range and an almost impossible to light heater. We had lots of fun in it, even pulled it from Hollywood Beach, MD to Miami, FL and wore out both tires in the process.

In 1982 we purchased a new 10' Jayco pop-up, it was a real nice trailer but we really did not used it a lot. We did take it from Glenrock, WY to Yellowstone Park, in most camping areas there they would not allow "soft sided" trailers.

After that came the following:

• 17' Komfort self contained trailer.
• 25' Prowler Lynx Basement Model Trailer.
• 35' Prowler Regal 5th Wheel
• 35" Carraige 5th Wheel
• Toyota Mico-Mini motorhome
• 25" Terry trailer

At the present time we have

• 1993 33' Alpenlite 5th Wheel with super slideout and Bedroom slideout
• 1999 Chevy Silverado 3/4 ton, Extended Cab, Vortec 6000 300 H.P. Engine, 4.11 axle

For a while we were campground hosts for the US Forest Service at Pole Mountain east of Laramie, WY and at Glendo State Park in Glendo, WY.

We still enjoy RV'ing but don't do it as much as in the past.
