Welcome to my little spot of the World Wide Web. My name is Phil Mohon. At this time I have several radio licenses. My amateur callsign is KU4RK. I hold an Advanced Class license. And yes I did take the code test. As you can see by the several patches above I'm involved in several different types of comms.

In the top left is the MARS patch. For those of you that don't know what MARS is I'll explain. MARS stands for Military Affiliate Radio System. There are 3 branches. The Army,Air Force and Navy-Marine Corps. I'm in the Army part of MARS and the State MARS Director of Virginia. We have at least 2 nets a day outside of the amateur bands. The patch on the right side of the page is for ARES. Amateur Radio Emergency Services. I am the Districts Emergency Coordinator for district 14.
