The past six years we have had the privilege of serving with the Bill Rice Ranch. We have worked in Deaf camps and gone to churches to teach Sign Language and start Deaf ministries. It has been a wonderful time of learning and growth for us. We have met many wonderful friends all over the States and several other countries.

    We now feel that God is leading us into the next phase of our ministry....the foreign field. We have always felt that God ultimately wanted us in Latin America doing what we have done here, teach others to work with the Deaf.

    We want to thank you for praying for us in the past. We now ask that you pray especially for the next few months as we begin deputation. During the last six years we have raised some of our needed support. But because our ministry was primarily here in the States, financial needs have been taken care of by love offerings. We still receive those offerings while on deputation, but for our future work we will be dependent on monthly gifts from our prayer partners. Please pray and see if God would have you or your church take us on for monthly support. We hope to have all our support in 2 years or less.

    We are excited about the direction God is leading us now. Please pray that the excitement will continue while we are on deputation then through language school. David has had some training in Spanish but will need further education. Stephanie has had no Spanish training and will need lots of help.

    We have made application to Baptist International Outreach as our Mission Board. They will be a tremendous help to us in financial matters and guiding us to areas that need our help. David's home church, Calvary Baptist Church in Odessa, TX, is our sending church. They are also handling our finances until we have full status with the board, and all financial gifts should be directed through them.
