FISTS CW Club Slow Traffic Net

FISTS

FSN is the slow traffic training net of the FISTS CW Club. It was established to assist those operators who wanted to learn traffic handling under the NTS system, but who wished to learn in a low pressure atmosphere. The net is open to all licensed Hams with at least Novice band privileges. The FSN meets each Tuesday and Thursday at 9:00 pm EST on 3.682 MHZ. Formal traffic is accepted on the net and will be relayed via the appropriate NTS channels.

Want to check-in to FSN? (Here's how)

FSN will begin each session with an established preamble:

CQ FSN FSN THE FISTS SLOW NET A TRAFFIC NET OF THE FISTS CW CLUB ALL WELCOME QND QNZ VVV QNN KT4ST/ARNIE GE FISTS QNI DE KT4ST QNI K

Once the preamble is complete, the Net Control Station (NCS) waits to hear a letter of the alphabet. If you want to check in, send ONE letter of your suffix
(I send an "S") If the NCS repeats that letter, it's your invitation to check-in.

DE (your call sign) QRU K ...

DE KT4ST QRU K ... (no traffic for net)

Or ...

DE (your call sign) QTC (list your traffic) K
