Field Day 1998

A joint venture between the Columbia Amateur Radio Club, The Palmetto Amateur Radio Club, and The Heathwood Hall Hamster Club participated in Field Day festivities. This year's contest was a very successful event. Many hams from the Columbia, South Carolina area attended. With the help of several hams, the three clubs operated in the contest under the callsign, W4MN, and made over 450 contacts. These are a few of the photos from the event.

Part of our antenna array: a crane and the antenna truck! The CARC emergency CARCERT trailer.

This truck provided a good antenna platform for 15 meters. Our crane provided an excellent way to set up dipoles.
