June 2 is the official launch date for Shuttle Discovery on mission STS-91. The 7-10 minute launch window opens at about 5:10 p.m. CDT. The STS-91 mission is scheduled to last 9 days, 18 hours, 31 minutes. A launch on June 2, and a nominal mission would have Discovery landing at Kennedy on June 12 at about 1:16 p.m. CDT.
