My Name is David and I was first Lincesed in 1990 as KC4WEZ. I started working 10 meters like crazy, then 6mos later I upgraded to Technician. I found that vhf (For Me) Wasn't all that so back to 10 meters. After awhile I found myself board with that so I looked at my privlidges and at the time I had 10,15,40,80, meters (CW) Well I said to myself oh boy I have not done cw since passing my test and just bareley did that. Well one night I sat down and listened to the novice 40 meter section and realized that I would not be the only one down there making mistakes or going Well SlooooooW

Well after a couple of days of listening I said well Ok I sent out a few cq's and nobody answered PHEW!! well I sent 2 more and UH OH somebody answered well I worked for about an hour man he was patient with me I was sending with a straight key and quite horribly at that. But I made it through we had a good chat, and he said to help me that we were going to meet every night same time same BAT Channel. OK I said and within about a week I was improving he even sent me a couple of cassette recordings for posterity. Well I managed to work my way to general From that point on I started working the 160M Band Stan KK4SI got me into that band and have never turned back. 160m presents alot of chalenges here in Florida Later I did upgrade Advanced. Well I finally upgraded to Extra June 2004 so the mode I started hating the most I find working the most (GO FIGURE) its not all that bad once you get use to it. Any way enough Rambling.

Well that is it for now I will have more later for ya as I get some photos scanned and drawings scanned of some of my goodies I have here. Antenna switches beverage antenna stuff to. 10-09-04DN
