greetings!! My name is jim harvey and my call sign is as you may have all ready guessed is km8i. i recieved my technician license in 1997. i upgraded to tech plus in 1998 and to extra in 2000. former calls are kc8lbh and ab8fx. i recieved the vanity call km8i on june 23, 2000 (that's my birthday!!!). my favorite parts of this hobby are dx'ing and contesting with contesting being my all time favorite. i have worked in most major sideband contests under one call or another but, in the 2000 ssb sweepstakes i finally operated under my own call. |
