After five long years I have finally updated my web site. All I needed was the proper conditions for time, clarity, creativity. For me, this requires being sufficiently out of my mind, so to speak. And, voila! A fever and the foggy surrealness of mind resulted in what you are about to find here.

After a string of events, some tragic, others inspiring, Dick and I surrendered to retirement in 2001. (Of course, one never actually retires, we both just happen to be not getting paid to do what we truly love doing.) Curiously, for me, this was exactly 20 years after graduating from the University at Buffalo in New York and 10 years after having met Dick. From 1981 and onward I've been able to revisit many interests from the past as well as diving more deeply into interests of the present. As most people realize far sooner than I ever have, I'm finding the paths I've taken that once seemed different are, in fact, quite similar. The focus and perspectives have changed, but they are still essentially the same.
