Ever seen this? - penguin.jpg (1464 bytes) There is an alternative (and very reliable) operating system for your PC, other than Windows. If you are spoiled by point-and-click, or do not know what a command-line OS is (duh...DOS perhaps?), then this is not for you. You should use your brain more than just to turn on your computer.

Linux Today - Linux in the headlines. Very informative.

LinuxOrbit - Linux for desktops.

Geekculture.com -You must check out the After Y2k comic strip. What a hoot!!! Or the hockey game....

User Friendly - Funny IT comic strip.

Segfault.org - Fake news and satire.

Slashdot.org - News for Nerds (that's what it says). Important stuff. Very interesting site.

Linux Weekly News - Weekly e-publication for Linux users (and observers).

ACME Vaporware - Need a torpomatic injector with coaxial fulcrum? This is the place to go.

GNU's not Unix - The GNU Project (open source).

Propaganda - Who knew that JFK was still around? Thanks for the spiffy Linux-made wallpaper. There is some cool stuff there.
